HOW TO MEASURE FOR YOUR PERSONALISED ROMAN BLIND

Firstly, you must decide if your blind is to go inside the recess or outside the recess. Please specify on the order form which measurement you are giving. ( I.e 125cm wide x 110cm drop inside recess)

Please please please, measure very carefully using a steel tape measure, fabric tape measures are likely to stretch and give an inaccurate measurement, always use a steel tape measure. Once the measurements are given, the blind will be made to that size.

Measuring Inside the recess;

Measure the total width in three places from A-B  (top, middle and bottom to get an accurate measurement) and note the smallest measurement.

Measure the total drop in three places from C-D (left side, middle and right side to get an accurate measurement) and note the smallest measurement.

Always give width x drop ie 125cm wide x 110cm drop

WE WILL MAKE ALLOWANCE FOR THE BLIND TO RUN SMOOTHLY, PLEASE GIVE THE FULL WIDTH X DROP OF YOUR WINDOW.

Measuring Outside the recess;

Decide how far you want the blind to overlap the window, this is usually around 5cm on each side.

Allow approximately 7-10cm above the window reveal and 7-10cm under the window sill.

Measure  the width from E-F and note the width.

Measure the drop from G-H and note the drop.

Again, please use a steel tape measure for accuracy. THE BLIND WILL BE MADE TO THESE MEASUREMENTS.

If you have any queries regarding the measuring, please do not  hesitate to contact us for advice.
